Munida spinifrons Henderson, 1885

Munida spinifrons has been reported from Brazil to the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 13 to 150 m (Henderson 1885; Baba & Camp 1988; de Melo-Filho & de Melo 2001b). There were no ovigerous females in the collections for M. spinifrons . There were four males (CW from 2.3 to 4.3 mm) and three females (one measured with a CW of 2.7 mm) present; all were collected in the Gulf of Mexico in depths from 57 to 260 m in March, April, June, and July.
