Distribution. It is distributed in the AFR_ORR_SAR realms occurring in Sahara and Sahel of Africa (EG, ER, ET, LY, MR, NE, NG, SD, SN, TD) and in southern and southeastern Asia (AE (Gillett 2009), IN, IR, LB, PK, SA, SY, YE).

Life forms and Remarks. ZGDG(L) species. This taxon was reported from Asir Province at an altitudinal range of 2000–2050 (Basilewsky 1979; Balkenohl 1994) and from Makkah of western KSA (Britton 1948) from 1485 m. The adults were collected from an Opuntia ficus-indica community at lowest altitude of GRNR (1614 m).
