Distribution. Species with AFR_ORR_PAL_SAR distributional range. This species is widely distributed throughout Saharan Africa (CV, DZ, EG, MA, MR, NE, TD, TN) eastward, southwest and south (AE, AF, IL, IN, IQ, IR, SA, SY, TR, YE) and northward across western, southern, and eastern Europe (BG, CY, FR, GR, HR, MD, MT, PT, RU, UA) to the southern Caucasus (AM, AZ, GE) into central Asia (KG, KZ, TJ, TM, UZ).
Life forms and Remarks. ZS(C)SL species. This taxon has a wide altitudinal distribution, 630 m to 2760 m in KSA. It has been previously reported from Asir and Riyadh provinces (Basilewsky 1979) and also from Baha Province (El-Hawagry et al. 2013). During this study, adults were collected from various vegetation communities and at different altitudes (1250–2761 m) in the GRNR including at the bottom of the Park.
