Distribution. SAR species, having a narrow distributional range, known from northeastern Africa (EG) and eastwards in Levant (IL) and Arabian Peninsula (SA, YE).
Life forms and Remarks. ZPLD species. This species was described as Phloeozeteus discoidalis from Madinah and Makkah provinces and was previously unknown from Asir Province. The adults were collected from the Opuntia ficus-indica community, at altitudes of 1614–1851 m.
