Specimens examined. COLOMBIA, Cesar: Los Venados, 1 male, 2010, Mejia C. leg. (CBUMAG_ENT01675). La Guajira: San Juan del Cesar, 1 male, 15.VI.1969, L.M. Rico & C. Cujia leg. (UNAB_6522) .

Geographical distribution. This species is known from Colombia (Quindío), Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. New department records from Cesar and La Guajira (Colombia) are added.
