Type locality. East Pacific Ocean, S of Gulf Panama (5°58.8’N, 81°38.2’W, 1188 m). Peruvian and Chilean records. Schwabe & Sellanes (2010: 33, figs 1A–D, 2, 3). Distribution. From Oregon (44°39’N) to Iquique (21°23’S), 400–1400 m depth (Schwabe & Sellanes 2010).
