3. Begonia maculifolia Y.M.Shui, Nuraliev & Aver., sp. nov. (Fig. 3)
B. sect. Platycentrum (Klotzsch 1855: 243) de Candolle (1859: 134).
Diagnosis:— Similar to B. duclouxii Gagnepain (1919: 198), B. limprichtii Irmsch. in Limpricht (1922: 440) and B. setifolia Irmscher (1939: 549), differing from them by the following combination of characters: leaf blade 8.2–11.5 cm long, hairy peduncle, bracts 3.5–5 mm long, purple tepals, staminate flowers with outer tepals ca. 6 mm long and ca. 3–4 mm wide, actinomorphic androecium, anthers with supraconnective.
