Distribution. Brazil (Maranhão, Piauí, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Paraguay (Alto Paraná, Cordillera).

New record. ARGENTINA: Chaco: Los Chaguares, Department Primero de Mayo, 27°19′59′′S, 58°57′57′′W, 55 masl, 13.XI.2015, Riparian forest, Direct observation, 1 male, N. G. Valle leg. (CARTROUNNE 9568) .

Species diagnosis. Head and scape reddish; prothorax black or brownish; elytra reddish brown except yellowish apex, with a yellowish macula, of variable size, located laterally on the anterior half, and another small yellowish oblique band on middle of the dorsal surface; femora yellowish-brown, sometimes darkened apically; tibiae dark brown or blackish (Martins 1967: 318, fig. 1; Martins 2006: 199, fig. 218).

Remark. First record of the genus in Argentina.
