Maiestas scalpella sp. nov.

Length. Male: 3.0mm.
Ochraceous. Vertex with small apical spots on anterior margin brownish (Plate III: F); face stramineous, frontoclypeus with fuscous arcs. Leg marked with dark brown. Forewing with central anteapical cell with basal dark brown spot.
Forewing submacropterous, inner anteapical cell open basally.
Male genitalia. Subgenital plate long, subtriangular, lateral margin weakly incurved, apex acute (Fig. 25 C); style preapical lobe short, apophysis digitate, slightly laterally curved (Fig. 25 B); connective slightly shorter than aedeagus, aedeagal shaft very narrow, relatively straight subbasally to apex in lateral view, apex with ventral margin serrate (Figs 25 D, 25E).
Material examined. Holotype: ɗ, China, Guangxi Autonomous Region, Mt. Yuanbao, 12 August 2006, coll. Lu Lin (NWAFU).
Remarks. This species can be distinguished by the elongate and relatively straight aedeagal shaft (Figs 25 D, 25E).
Etymology. This name is based on the scalpel-like shape of the aedeagal apex.
