Diagnosis. Length of forewing is 9.5–10 mm in males and 10 mm in females. Externally, the species differs clearly from other members of the B. cardinalis – anomala 'species-complex' in the short and rounded forewings, and presence of the large elliptical black shade on the forewing instead a longitudinal strip. The male genitalia are similar to those of B. rawanga sp. nov., but differ in the much longer, distally narrowed distal costal process, the reduced distal saccular process not extending beyond the valva surface, and the vesica having two elongated diverticula with dense clusters of robust trigonal cornuti. The female genitalia differ from those of other members of the B. nangkwak and B. miloslavae species-groups in the much larger spines of the band-like clusters in the posterior and medial sections of corpus bursae.

Distribution. North Vietnam.
