Remarks

Species recorded from IVORY COAST: Mont Tonkoui (Capener 1953a: 39), Bingerville (RMCA coll.). GHANA: Ashanti, Obuasi; Aburi (type locality, Distant 1916b). TOGO: Yob; Agou (RMCA coll.). UGANDA: Mabira (type locality of mabirensis, China 1923). DRC (Belgian Congo, Metcalf and Wade 1965).

Capener synonymized formally the genera Hamma and Amitrochates in his paper on the Ruanda-Urundi entomological fauna (1955: 376), but he already (Capener 1953: 39) had listed this species in the binomial combination Hamma grahami, however without a formal indication of new combination.
