Sipunculus robustus Keferstein, 1865:421 . – ten Broeke, 1925: 82–83.

Remarks. Similar to S. nudus above, but for the nephridea which hang freely, without attachment to the body wall.

Distribution. Another warm water species collected at shallow depths, but with a less widespread distribution that S. nudus . It is known from the Indo-West Pacific, the Caribbean and the Red Sea. ten Broeke (1925) collected two small specimens of this species from Spaansche Water in Curaçao.
