Diagnosis. Forewing length is 9–10 mm in males (10 mm in the holotype). Barsine mene sp. n. differs externally from its closest relatives, B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica by its not developed postmedial line (that is present as suffusion between veins) and medial line situated closely to the antemedial line and connected with it medially. The male genitalia are most similar to those of B. syntypicoida sp. n., but differ by their much broader medial costal process, longer distal costal process, much longer distal saccular process, and weaker cornuti in vesica.
Female is unknown.
Distribution. South Thailand (Chumphon) (Černý & Pinratana 2009, as B. syntypica).
Etymology. Mene is the goddess of the full moon in Greek mythology.
