Pseudogaurax trifidus (Duda, 1930)

Material examined. BRAZIL. Pará: Belém, Research Campus of Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, 1°27’06.5”S 48°26’38.8”W, 08.IX.2016, leg. F.S. Carvalho-Filho (1 female); Estadual Park of Utinga, Monkey Trail, 25.VII.2011, leg. F.S. Carvalho-Filho, reared from pupae of Cicinnus (1 male and 1 specimen without abdomen) .

Distribution. Brazil (Pará), Costa Rica.

Natural history. The analyzed specimens were obtained from pupae of Cicinnus sp. ( Mimallonidae).

Remarks. This species has been recorded only for the type-locality in the Costa Rica (Sabrosky & Paganelli 1984). Therefore, this is a new record from Brazil.
