Subgenus Septemtrichomyia Bravo

Comments. Males of Septemtrichomyia are recognized by tergum 7 having a pair of lateral lobes, each one with 3– 5 elongated bristles inserted apically, sometimes fused as a single bristle (see Araújo & Bravo, 2012).
