Type locality. Lota, Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia .

Ecological type. Beach-hopper.

Habitat. Marine beach-hopper (mascupod). Supralittoral beaches, among Zostera debris, upper littoral, on sand and gravel beach.

Size. Male, 12.9 mm, female, 9.1 mm.

Diagnosis (male). Based on Marsden & Fenwick (1984).

Gnathopod 1 propodus palm sinuous, with shallow proximal sinus. Telson without 1 or 2 very long robust setae on dorsal margin.

Distribution. Australia. Queensland: Lota, Moreton Bay (Marsden & Fenwick, 1984) .
