Strigamia sibirica (Seliwanoff, 1881) *
References for morphology: Seliwanoff 1881, 1884.
Taxonomic notes. Described originally as a species of Scolioplanes, it was cited also under Linotaenia . No other specimens were recorded, but the validity of the species was never questioned. It is assigned here to Strigamia for the first time (new combination), because it shares all major diagnostic features of Strigamia (see above under “Notes on synonymies”). However, its distinctness is uncertain especially with respect to S. pusilla, because the original description is compatible with the latter as is the provenance of the type material.
Distribution: known from a single locality in internal Siberia.
