In S. illecebrosa, pronotum is yellow with a black spot, elytra without large punctures (Fig. 56), paramere 3/4 of penis guide length (Fig.194), and penis shorter (Fig. 193).
Description. TL: 2.08 mm, TW: 1.81 mm, TH: 1.05 mm, TL/TW: 1.15; PL/PW: 0.44; EL/EW: 0.91; HW/TW: 0.40; PW/TW: 0.64.
Head yellowish brown, with mouthparts yellow. Pronotum yellowish brown and scutellum dark brown. Elytra predominantly yellowish brown, each elytron with 4 large black rounded spots disposed as follows (Figs 77–79): spot 1 resting on the humeral callus (touching basal margin); spot 2 resting on 2/5 length of elytral suture (touching margin); spot 3 resting on disc slightly posteriad of half length of elytron; spot 4 just before sutural apex. Underside brown, elytral epipleuron yellowish brown. Legs yellow.
Body almost circular in outline, hemispherical, shiny and glabrous. Head frontal punctures medium and densely distributed, 0.5–2.0 diameters apart, with short sparse setae, interocular distance of eyes 0.57x head width (Fig. 79).
Pronotal punctures fine, 1.5–2.5 diameters apart, slightly smaller than those on head. Elytral surface polished, punctures fine and sparse, similar to those on pronotum, 1.5–2.5 diameters apart, with a row of large punctures along basal 1/2 of suture. Elytral margins moderately wide, distinctly visible from above.
Prosternal surface slightly shagreened, punctures inconspicuous, with long sparse setae. Mesoventral surface shiny, with several large punctures. Metaventrite covered by coarse and dense punctures distributed at center. Elytral epipleuron broad, complete to apex, moderately foveate to accommodate femoral tips of hind legs. Wings well-developed.
Male genitalia: Penis very long and soft, moderately curved at base, capsule slightly broadening basally and with a thin inner process (Fig. 228); tegmen with penis guide in lateral view slender, widest at base, narrowing to apex, 2x parameres length (Fig. 229); penis guide in ventral view thin, widest at base, gradually narrowing to apex (Fig. 230); parameres slender, with sparse setae apically.
Female genitalia: Ovipositor elongate and narrowly triangular, styli inconspicuous, each with sparse long terminal setae (Fig. 231).
