Myrmecotypus bilineatum (Mello-Leitão, 1939) comb. nov.; nomen dubium

Apochinomma bilineatum Mello-Leitão, 1939a: 175 .

Female holotype from São Sebastião island, São Paulo, Brazil, destroyed in the 2018 MNRJ fire .

The original description is consistent with that of a species of Myrmecotypus, indicating a recurved PER, tibia I ventral spination 3-2 and the presence of golden pubescent hair on the abdomen, characters also shared by M. dacetonoides comb. nov. . Since the type specimen is lost, we consider this species as nomen dubium.
