Material examined. 1 ♂ “Hte. Tonkin Dong Van Cap.ne Gadel 1898 / Museum Paris 1952 Coll. R. Oberthür / 1281 Sericini Asia spec.” (MNHN).

Remarks. This species was so far known only from China (type locality, Guangxi). This is the first record for Vietnam.
