Perithemis rubita Dunkle, 1982

This species was previously recorded from Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru (Butt, 1995; Mauffray & Tennessen, 2019; Miranda Filho et al., 2022). In the Reserva Playa Güio, it was observed perching in the middle of a still river near the cabins.
