Labriphimedia pulchridentata (Stebbing, 1888)

Remarks. Labriphimedia pulchridentata (Stebbing, 1888) was collected at “seamount 8” 605–709 m (NIWA 40808) and Hjort Seamount) 676–750 m (AM P87292) on the Macquarie Ridge. Figure 8 shows L. pulchridentata shortly after capture. The body is translucent white, light rose coloured; the large oval eye red orange. This species is unique in the iphimediids (Coleman 2007) in having this specific dorsal armature, bicuspidate coxae 5–7 and such impressive teeth on bases 5–7.
