Material examined. NCL-35 (1 ¥), NCL-198 (1 0).

Remarks. Material agrees well with the original description of the species from Australia.

Habitat. Amongst Halimeda and dead Acropora with epiphytes, 20- 35 m.

Distribution. Australia (Victoria) and New Caledonia.
