Polauchenia protentor McAtee and Malloch, 1925

All the specimens examined here agree in all morphological aspects with the description of McAtee & Malloch (1925). P. protentor was previously known just from Panama (McAtee & Malloch 1925; Wygodzinsky 1966; Maldonado 1990). The specimens examined here are from a Colombian tropical dry forest on the Caribbean coast. They are a new record from Colombia (Fig. 22).
