Rasahus costaricensis Coscarón & Maldonado, 1988

Coscarón & Maldonado (1988) described this species from Costa Rica, but did not explicitly describe the color pattern, providing only a gray habitus drawing. Therefore, a color figure of an adult and a nymph is provided here (Figs. 51, 52). From the specimens examined here it is evident that some variation in color intensity can occur, as some can be paler or darker. The specimens listed below are a new record from Colombia and also from continental South America. This species seems to be distributed widely in this country.
