Heniartes cf. malaisei Wygodzinsky, 1953
The original description of this species was based solely on females collected in Brazil (Bahia) (Wygodzinsky 1953). The male specimen examined here is similar to H. erythromerus, but it lacks the apical tubercles of the anterior lobe of the pronotum, the absence of which is a diagnostic character for H. malaisei (Wygodzinsky 1953) . Until males and females can be associated, the identity of this specimen will remain uncertain. The male genitalia of the Colombian specimen is figured here (Fig. 38). This specimen is a new record from Colombia.
Material examined: COLOMBIA, 1ɗ, Tolima, Melgar (potrero) [04º12'N 74º38'W, 324 m], 21III1968, C. Puentes [MEFLG].
