Material examined: Cacheu (IBAP) (12º 15´29.59´´ N, 16º 09´24.45´´ W, 25 m alt.) (CAC), 25. VI.2009, 1 male, 28. VI.2009, 4 males, 3 females, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC; Banhinda (P.N. T. Cacheu) (12º 12´16.67´´ N, 16º 02´56.45´´ W, 25 m alt.) (CAC), 26. VI.2009, 2 males, 1 female, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC.
Remarks. The species is scattered throughout West, Central and northeastern Africa (Serrano 2009a; Lorenz 2021). The first record was for Guinea-Bissau by LaFerté-Sénectère (1849) under the name of Casnonia senegalensis Dejean, 1831 and then later reported in several localities of Guinea-Bissau by Serrano (2009a). It seems a common species in this country. The adult specimens were captured by LT within urban environments (Cacheu) and open secondary forest (Banhinda) (Table 1). It is a new species record for CAC Administrative Region, Guinea-Bissau.
