Remarks. Bisaltes buquetii was described based on syntypes from French Guiana. Monné (2024b) and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2024) reported the species as described based on female specimen (holotype). However, according to Thomson (1868b): “Long., 15-16 mill.; lat. 4 2/3-5 mill.” Therefore, there were at least two specimens and the sex was not indicated. Currently, it is known from Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, French Guiana, and Brazil (Amazonas and Espírito Santo) (Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024).
