Diagnosis
Females are most similar to E. fasciata and E. obscuripes ( toeniata group); see differences discussed under these species. Males might not always be distinguishable from those of the E. obscuripes ( toeniata group) and vittata group specimens found in the same (sub)arctic habitats.
Female
5.0– 7.5 mm. Tegula pale or sometimes mostly black, metafemur usually completely or mostly pale, sometimes mostly black, abdomen ventrally extensively pale.
Male
4.0–6.0(6.5) mm. Tegula and metafemur black or partly pale, subgenital plate pale or sometimes black.
Best matches to godmani: ZMUO.044556 (female), ZMUO.059873, ZMUO.058922 (males).
