Distribution. China (Fujian, Hainan Island) (Heiss 2001), Japan (Nansei Islands) (Nagashima & Shono 2012), Taiwan (Kormilev 1971).

Comments. Record of Daulocoris formosanus Kormilev, 1971 from Gyeonggi-do, South Korea by Ahn et al. (2018) regard misidentification of a species of Brachyrhynchus Laporte, 1833 reported from Korea as B. taiwanicus by Lee & Kerzhner (1994) (see discussion under Brachyrhynchus sp.).
