Elasmucha signoreti Scott, 1874

Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima Island) (Yamamoto & Hayashi 2012), Russia (Far East: South Sakhalin, Kuril Islands) (Kanyukova 1988b).

Discussion. Elasmucha signoreti Scott, 1874 and Elasmucha dorsalis (Jakovlev, 1876) are both listed in the checklist of KSAE & ESK (2021). However, Tsai & Rédei (2015) already suggested that all previous records of E. signoreti after Horváth (1909) in most parts of East Asia, including the Korean Peninsula, are misidentifications of E. dorsalis . Thus, this species needs to be excluded from the list of Korean Heteroptera .
