Neolygus lobatus (Linnavuori, 1963)

Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu), Russia (Sakhalin, Kuril Islands) (Kerzhner 1988b, Yasunaga 2001b, 2024)

Comments. Cho et al. (2011) included N. lobatus in their key to Korean Neolygus species and Cho & Kwon (2017) included this species in their catalogue of Korean Heteroptera, both citing Yasunaga (2001b) as a reference. Although Yasunaga (2001b: 243) included the Korean Peninsula under the distributional section of L. lobatus, no pinpoint record from Korea exists (T. Yasunaga, pers. comm.), and later works on Asian Neolygus species (Yasunaga et al. 2012, Yasunaga 2024) only lists this species from Japan and the Russian Far East. Lacking supportive materials of this species from Korea, we exclude this species from the Korean list of Heteroptera .
