Material examined. South Korea. Gyeonggi-do: 2 ♂, 5 ♀, Goyang-si, Ilsan Lake Park (37.660541, 126.760339), on the bark of Zelkova serrata (Thunb.) Makino, 13.v.2024, leg. Wonwoong Kim (SCNU) .

Distribution. Widely distributed in the Palaearctic region (Péricart 1996). In East Asia: Korea (Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongsangnam-do) and Russia (Far East: South Primorsky) (Kerzhner 1988b).

Comments. Three species of Temnostethus are known from East Asia: T. gracilis Horváth, 1907, T. distans Kerzhner, 1973 and T. mirificus Yamada & Yasunaga, 2021; the Korean specimens key out to T. gracilis by having all tibiae light yellow (Kerzhner 1988b; Yamada & Yasunaga 2021).
