Distribution: Luzon (Laguna: Mount Makiling, type locality); Borneo (Sandakan).

Scientific synonym: C. proteus var. disjuncta Heller, 1915 .

Notes: This species is also closely related to C. bioculata Heller, 1923 . A close examination of both types will fix their taxonomic status.
