Habit: herb (to 1,5 m) to shrub (to 3 m).
Habitat: between rocks.
Distribution: From eastern Himalayas (north-eastern India, Nepal, Bhutan) to Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China, and south to Malaysia, Indonesia (Sumatera, Jawa and Nusa Tenggara) and Timor.
