Cytherellina sp. indet.

(Pl. II: Fig. 22)

2013 Cytherellina sp. indet.; Maillet: 106, pl. XIII, fig. 25.

Material. 3 specimens (3 C).

Description. Medium-sized carapace, sub-rhomboidal in lateral view and slender towards anterior, biconvex in dorsal view. Very slight overlap of the larger LV over the RV anteriorly and posteriorly. Hmax slightly posterior; Lmax slightly ventral; Wmax slightly postero-ventral. Regularly convex dorsal and ventral margins. Dorsal and ventral margins converging both anteriorly and posteriorly. Short anterior margin, very arched. Regularly convex posterior margin, more arched than dorsal and ventral margins. Posterior part of the carapace higher than the anterior one. Surface smooth.

Discussion. The outline of the carapaces of these specimens reminds C. obliqua (Kummerow, 1953) . However, they are too badly preserved to be identified without doubt.

Occurrences. Middle and Upper Givetian (Candás Fm, mbs C and D), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
