Material examined. BRAZIL: PARATYPES, 1 ♂ 1 ♀, Amazonas, Rio Negro, between Ilha Jacari & Airao, 11.x.1971, H. & P. Maas leg. (RMNH) .

Diagnosis. Urosternites mostly black, tubercle on urosternite III castaneous; lateral portion of each urosternite yellow. Male genitalia: pygophore quadrate, distal half depressed; posterolateral angles rounded; ventral rim with 1+1 rounded projections, with wide, V-shaped notch medially; ventral wall of pygophore impressed laterally and ventrally, ventrally with semicircular excavation; parameres scythe-like; paramere head in right angle, acute apically; parameres embracing segment X basally. Surface of segment X concave, distal margin with deep Ushaped notch, each posterolateral angle produced posteriorly, acute apically, slightly surpassing posterior margin of pygophore. Female genitalia: gonocoxites 8 wider than long; posterior margins of gonocoxites 8 sinuate, concave medially; gonocoxites 9 swollen, posterior margin sinuate; apex of each laterotergite 9 acute, well surpassing tergite VIII.
