Neotype (Schrire in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 474. 1997): South Africa. Cape Peninsula, W of Little Lions Head, slopes near sea, 4 Nov 1933, T.M. Salter 3967 (K).

Current name: Indigofera psoraloides (L.) L. ( Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: A nomen novum for the illegitimate Indigofera trifoliata L. (1760), non (1756).
