Lectotype (Anderberg in Jarvis & Turland in Taxon 47: 363. 1998): Herb. Burser XV(1): 41 (UPS) .

Current name: Inula britannica L. ( Asteraceae).

Note: Rechinger (Fl. Iranica 145: 90. 1980) indicated Herb. Linn. No. 999.14 (LINN) as the type, presumably in error as this material is not associated with I. brittanica and is, in fact, the lectotype of I. dysenterica L.
