Bambusananus anhuiensis Huang & Tang sp. nov.

Length. Male: 3.6mm.

Description. Head with middle of leading edge dark brown, crown with a pair of heart-shaped black spots preapically; ocelli pale yellow; eyes purplish red (Fig. 1C); face dark brown with an irregular yellow band between antennae, a yellow line centrally on anteclypeus and ventral margin edged with yellow (Fig. 1D). Pronotum yellow, with leading edge and 4 irregular markings posteriorly, blackish brown (Fig. 1C). Scutellum gray with basal angles and middle area on both sides blackish brown (Fig. 1C). Forewing dark brown with markings as in Fig. 1B; veins whitish.

Male pygofer with ventral margin strongly indented distally and pygofer lobe long and narrow; internal ventral process directed dorsally and then strongly curved ventrally and extended slightly beyond ventral margin of pygofer (Fig. 1F). Connective with stem slightly longer than arms (Fig. 1I). Aedeagus with shaft laterally compressed, slightly sinuate and tapered to narrowly rounded apex in lateral view (Fig. 1L), incurved at midlength, and gradually tapered to bifurcate apex in ventral view (Fig. 1J, K), an elongate process on each side arising two thirds distance from base to apex of shaft, curved ventrolaterally; basal apodeme very short; base of aedeagus quadrate in ventral view (Fig. 1J).

Material examined. Holotype ♂, China: Anhui province, Anqing, Yaoluoping reserve, sweep net, 1 August 2019, coll. Zhang Yating (AAU).

Distribution. China (Anhui).

Remarks. This species is very similar to B. cuihuashanensis but the ventral margin of the male pygofer is more distinctly indented subapically, the connective stem is longer, the base of the aedeagus is quadrate in ventral view and shorter in lateral view, and the apex of the shaft is rounded in lateral view.

Etymology. The species is named after the province in China where the specimen were collected, Anhui.
