Carineta fimbriata Distant, 1891 .

Specimens from Falcon, Curimagua, 1640 m, 22–III–1987 and Merida, Apartaderos, 25–VII–1988 were found in the FSCA.

The species has been reported from Ecuador (Metcalf 1963c).
