Dorisiana viridis (Olivier, 1790) .

The FSCA has specimens from the State of Lara, 26–XI–1968. Specimens from Caracas, 16–V–1968 and 1–VI–1968 were found in the ASUT.

The species is widespread across South American having been reported from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Surinam, Central and South America (Metcalf 1963a).
