Mecistosceloides tonkinensis Carvalho, 1992
Mecistoceloides tonkinensis Carvalho 1992: 852 –853 (as new species, DV, head and pronotum). Mecistoceloides tonkinensis: Schuh 1995: 684 (catalog); Schuh 2002 –2013 (online catalog).
Diagnosis. Frons and vertex yellow laterally, almost black medially. Eyes reddish-brown. Antennal segments I and II yellowish-brown, the first segment with a lateral black line. Antennal segments III and IV darker. Pronotal collar yellow. Lateral and posterior margins of pronotal disk yellow. Median part of pronotal disk with two wide subtriangular black areas separated medially by a narrow yellowish longitudinal stripe. Pronotal callosities yellowish to reddish-brown, rounded, separated medially, covering lateral margins in dorsal view. Mesoscutum almost covered, dark. Scutellum partially to totally reddish-brown to black. Corium and cuneus translucent, whitish. Membrane translucent. Clavus and commissure of corium black. Male genitalic structures as Figs 17–21.
