Remarks. A polytypic species with two to three subspecies (Krajcik 2008a; Beinhundner 2017a). The nominal subspecies presents a large distribution throughout western and southwestern Africa (Allard 1986; Beinhundner
2017a; Schoolmeesters 2018). It seems to have a widespread distribution in Angola. Ecological data are not available for this species.
