Vernacular Names: Darwin's Fox.
Synonyms: Lycalopex lagopus (Molina 1782) .
Distribution: Chile (ChiloƩ Isl, and Nahuelbuta National Park)(Medel et al., 1990).
Conservation: CITES Appendix II (as included in Pseudalopex (= Lycalopex) griseus).
Discussion: The distinctiveness of fulvipes is supported by mtDNA analyses (Yahnke et al., 1996).
