Distribution: N Atlantic and Arctic oceans and coastal regions of Canada (Newfoundland), France (vagrant), Germany (vagrant), Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Russia from E Canada to the White Sea (Russia), Scotland (vagrant), USA (Virginia - vagrant).
