Other material examined: USA: California: Kern Co., 16.x.1937 (1ɗ, CNC); Yuba Co., Brownsville, 10.xi.1907 (1ɗ, FSCA); MEXICO: Nuevo Leon: Mamulique Pass, 2km. NE on microwave rd., 17– 18.vi.1982, 2000', dry wash (1ɗ, GD).

Description (male): body length 12.0–13.0 mm.

Head: 9–13 pairs of medioclinate frontal setae. Genal setae black, postgena with at least some white or yellow setae.

Thorax: proanepisternum bare.

Wing: dark hairs on lateral margin of alula as long as those on anterior margin of anal lobe. Hairs fringing calypters creamy-white to pale brown.

Legs: hind tibia without long, wavy posteroventral hairs.

Abdomen: tergite 5 same color as other abdominal tergites or with pale brown or orange-yellow margin on apical half or third, with a marginal row of strong setae, sometimes two middle (dorsal) ones slightly or clearly anterior to the others.

Terminalia: cerci and syntergosternite 7+8 same color as epandrium. Surstylus without a small posteroventral projection. Window of sternite 5 forming an elevation anteriorly on base. Pregonite with pointed lateral extension. Vesica and juxta as in Figs. 40–41. Juxta in posterior view as in Fig. 42.
