Monepidosis scepteri Spungis, 2006

The only specimens existing of Monepidosis scepteri have previously been the holo- and paratype males, which the describing author collected in two different sites in Latvia in 1980 and 1981, respectively (Spungis 2006). The third specimen of this species is reported here from southeast Sweden .

Previous distribution. Latvia. Occurrence in Sweden: Öland.

Specimen studied. SWEDEN: male (CEC282), Öland, Mörbylånga, Skogsby forest NR, mixed deciduous forest with much dead ash, 15 July–17 Aug. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof.
