HOLOTYPE: AMNH 162176, adult male, collected at Faradje, 03.45N, 29.43E (Times atlas), Upper Uelle district, Congo (Kinshasa) (5 Belgian Congo), on 14 April 1911, by James P. Chapin on the Lang-Chapin Congo Expedition.

COMMENTS: Chapin gave the AMNH number and measurements of the holotype in the original description, mentioning no other specimens.
