HOLOTYPE: AMNH 166327, adult male, collected on Loma Tina (5 Mount Tina), 18.46N, 70.42W (Keith et al., 2003: 238), Dominican Republic (5 Santo Domingo), Hispaniola Island, West Indies, on 10 January 1917, by Rollo H. Beck on the BrewsterSanford Expedition (no. 6915).

COMMENTS: The AMNH number of the holotype was cited in the original description. Griscom had two additional specimens;

the paratypes are: Mount Rusilla, AMNH 166325, male, AMNH 166326, female, collected in February and March 1917, by Beck.
